We often have what we call “Open Track” days/nights where no formal racing takes place. Folks just get together to test cars or other equipment in a totally informal fashion. Prospective drivers are always welcome and it’s a great opportunity to get a feel for slot cars without actually entering a race.
Of course, informal racing does often occur during track days but nobody is keeping track of the results and nobody cares other than the drivers involved.
