Round 5 is still pretty crucial since only 64 points separate the top two drivers in the Expert category, and 91 points separate the top two Sportsman drivers.
Dark horse, Eric Lane sits in third place, 144 points down in third overall. Remember: the winner is the best out of four rounds, so that calculation makes it even closer.
Let me know what your availability is this weekend. I'm open to either a race day or a track day, whichever works out.Â

Well, we'll have to see who actually shows up, but right now, it looks like Round 5 could happen tomorrow. Those not interested in racing can just show up at 11:00 and cut some practice laps for an hour or two. We'll just have to see who shows up before determining whether we're racing.Â

Happy Thursday, Slotheads! If enough interest, we'll open up SR3 for an open track fun day Saturday. We'lll also go over controller choices and some of the adjustments possible on the higher-end pro controllers available and help anybody looking to increase their lap times on the SR3 "Fast Esses" course.
Aaron Castro is the fastest driver on the SR3 "Fast Esses" course with a blistering lap of 4.251 seconds in the Orange lane with a Viper V-SPEC "SPEC STOCK" car with a F1/Indy Lexan body.Â
George Peters was the previous record holder in the same lane and car with an also blistering lap of 4.270. Roughly two hundredths of a second slower. Â
