The dreaded failed pit stop could be a thing of the past soon…
Normally you can download older versions of SlotTrak’s upgrades from their site but this one was no longer available and the latest version no longer supports Stewart Raceway II’s power-control hardware.
Michael Block searched high and low and found somebody who had the version we need (v16.03). Hopefully, it solves the problem until I can get the hardware upgraded on SR2 and move on to the latest version.
Need to evaluate the new hardware on SR2 since the current hardware deployed is partially shared between SlotTrack, Trackmate, and Race Coordinator timing software. A longer story there but should work, just need to scope it out before I rush into upgrading hardware and software.
Fingers crossed that we’ll have this bug smashed by January 15’s Round 2 of the fast & furious slot car racing series.
Stewart Raceway is a residential 4-lane, 70′ routed track located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, just minutes away from the Highway 17 and Summit Road. We’re always looking for new drivers to join the fun. If you like racing anything, you’ll enjoy the excitement and adrenaline of racing little cars just as much.
