Okay, it looks like we've got a good group of racers committed for this Saturday:

• Pearson Racing
• Team Forza
• GP Designs
• Team Maddox
• Stewart Raceway

We'll see how it shapes up, but looks like we could potentially pull off Round 2 of the 2025 50/50 Series.

Gates open at 11:00. If we have enough drivers and marshals, we'll start racing at noonish. If not, we'll do a track day and have fun with a couple of "Unofficial" races.

If we end up with five or more drivers starting, we'll do the following "Official" schedule:

Race 1:  MegaG+ "Lites"
Race 2:  Fray T-Jets (IROC)
Race 3:  MegaG+ "Modifieds
Race 4:  OS3 TFX "Lites" (IROC)

The IROC sets will be available during practice from 11:00 to noon. I suggest everybody racing run at least a few laps with both platforms, as these cars are pretty loose compared to the MegaG+ platforms.

Controllers and loaner cars will be available, as always.

Light rain is forecasted, getting heavier in the late afternoon—temperatures in the lower 50's.

Who's up for Round 2 of the 2025 50/50 Series this Saturday? We had a great turnout for Round 1 and some great racing at our last meetup. Great to have two new racers join our ranks and looking forward to seeing them on the podium soon.

Okay, looks like tomorrow will be an Open Track Day. Bring yourself, your cars, your whole box for a day of tracktime and skills building on the SR3 road course.

Track will be hot and ready to go by 11:00am. Remember: you can run any type of car, on any lane, at anytime the track is powered up.

For those of you thinking about getting into slot car racing, or just want to check things out, an Open Track Day is the best opportunity for doing so. Yes,we may do a couple of races, but mostly just testing, tuning, and trying to get faster lap times.

Kathy is planning on ordering a half-dozen fresh bagels for the event. Please let me know what kind you'd like, only six are available, first come, first serve:

What's the word, Slotheads? Can we get enough teams/drivers together this Saturday for another round of the 2025 50/50 Series, or will it be an open track day?

George is heading to the Fray in Ferndale Feb 26 and needs as much track time and tuning as he can get, so SR3 will be open Saturday, regardless.

Round 3 goes live if five or more teams/drivers show up. If an official race breaks out, we'll run the following 50/50 format:

1. Viper-Jet Lexan NAStrucks (IROC)
2. MegaG+ 1.7 Lites
3. Autoworld X-Traction IMSA GTU Hardbodies (IROC)
4. Viper V-SPEC "SPECSTOCK" Lexan

Please let me know your status by noon Friday, and we'll go from there.

Okay, looks like Round 3 is a go! 

Track will be hot and ready for practice at 10:00am, racing or qualifying beginning at 11:30. We'll run four races, maybe even a qualifying session, we'll see. The schedule is as follows on SR3's "Fast Esses" road course:

1. Race 1: IROC TBD
2. Race 2: MegaG+ "Lites" or Modifieds
3. Race 3: IROC TBD
4. Race 4: Viper V-SPEC "SPECSTOCK" Lexan

Who's up for some racing action this Saturday? We had 10 drivers in the paddock last weekend and did a bunch of "unofficial" racing, mostly Dashs. 

Newsflash:
Team Rowland has informed me that they have procured MegaG+ and Viper V-SPEC cars to kickstart their stable of racing platforms for the 2025 racing season. I'm sure they're looking forward to getting some track time with the new cars and getting them set up for racing.

Please let me know by EOD Thursday if you're available, for how long, and what time you can arrive. Track opens at 10:00, racing at 11:30. 

If we have enough, we'll do Round 3 using the MG+ "Lites" and the Viper V-SPEC 'SpecStock" platforms and two IROC sets. 

If we don't have enough drivers committed, it'll be a good time for new drivers/teams to get some track time, work on cars, and develop skills.

Greetings, Slotheads; I've heard a rumor that Team Rowland may be unavailable for this weekend's racing. However, GP Designs has been recruiting and is expected to bring two new guest drivers to Stewart Raceway this weekend. 

This is GP Design's last track session before heading up north to compete in the 2025 Fray in Ferndale, a popular slot car race at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds each year. George hasn't been to the Fray in 17 years, so he's a bit nervous but very excited. 

To give George a good send-off, we'll run our box-stock TFX IROC set, our Fray Slip-on IROC set, and the usual MegaG+ Modified and Viper V-SPEC "SPECSTOCK" Lexan cars. We'll run on SR3's "Fast Esses" road course.
