NASCAR MADness Series!

So, we're finally rolling again at Stewart Raceway...

SR3's Grand Opening is this Saturday for road course and operations testing. Bring some fast cars and try out the ability to test any type of car, at any time during practice sessions. This means that each driver can set his or her lane voltage and run virtually any car during testing or practice.

The first race of our next series will be May 28, 2022 on the SR3 Road Course. Below are details of the classes we'll run:
  • TFX Lite
  • TFX Modified
  • Tyco 440-X2
  • Viper V-SPEC
  • Viper-Jet
  • Jag PR-5
All races will be fuel allocation races, one of these races will be an extended race, probably 200+ laps with fuel allocation. All bodies except TFX Lites must be NASCAR-style bodies.

For TFX Lite, we'll run current body rules for the first race.
For TFX Modified, must be a late-model NASCAR-style body, soft or hardbody okay.
For TYCO wide-pan, must be a NASCAR-style hardbody.
For Viper V-SPEC, must be a NASCAR-style soft body.
For Viper-Jets, must be a NASCAR-style soft body.
For Jag PR-5, must be a NASCAR-style hardbody.

If you don't have a Tyco NASCAR body right now, George will have some loaners available. For the PR-5, any long-wheelbase Tomy NASCAR-style body is acceptable. Drivers can research other options, which there are plenty of but must be a hardbody.
ALL OTHER CURRENT CLASS RULES WILL BE ENFORCED.

NOTE: We're not doing a Super Stock class in Round 1. All platforms must be running STOCK gearing. For the Viper classes, this means 7/23 gearing.

Stay tuned for a formal announcement of this new series. Oh, all soft body classes will be eligible for Concourse Trophy points.

Okay, shut up and drive!
