These are 2022 HOPRA rules and apply to all of our inline motor "Lite" class platforms. The TFX is not included in these rules.
The rules for all “Lite” designated classes are intended to support an entry-level, but very competitive racing environment. The main idea is to enable new or casual participants to easily and affordably race at Stewart Raceway and other participating venues. The spirit of this class is affordability, simplicity, and competitive racing for all participants.
PLEASE NOTE: OS3 TFX "Lite" class has very unique rules, which are not included here.
Platforms governed by these rules are: Tomy Super G+, AFX Mega G+, LifeLike M-chassis, Tyco/Mattel 440×2, Auto World Super III, JAG Hobbies TR-3, NC-2, and PR-5.

- The Race Director decides on the platform to be run. If the race is designated “PR-5”, a PR-5 chassis must be used. If the race is designated “Open” any of the above chassis’ may be employed.
- Only allowed changes to the stock, out-of-the-package car, is the addition of any double-flanged rear tire rims and any slip-on tires. (Note: There are minimum front tire size limits, please see below.)
Any commercially available silicone, rubber, or urethane slip-on tire is allowed.- Every part shall be exactly as it comes from the original manufacturer for that particular car type/model, including all gears, axles, pickup shoes, pickup shoe springs, motor brushes, and motor springs.
- No cutting or reaming of chassis, axle holes, or any bushings. Axle diameter and length must remain stock. No truing, lightening, or other modifications to the front or rear wheels/tires.
- Armatures will be in factory stock condition as it comes from the original manufacturer for that particular car type/model. No tampering with the stock condition or installing modified arms.
- Absolutely no cutting, grinding, lightening, or any other modification allowed to a car’s body. Re-painting is permitted.
- Body types (i.e., stock car, sports car, open-wheel) are to be determined on a race-by-race basis.
- Polishing and lubricating of metal components are allowed.
- Removal of protective plastic heat shields is permitted.
- The guide pin may be trimmed for clearance purposes.
- Pick-up shoe spring tension may be adjusted.

- Track voltage will be set at between 15.1, 16.5, and 18.1 volts. Race Directors may opt for higher voltages based on course layouts.
