Wednesday Night Under the Lights?
Wednesday Night Under the Lights?
October 1, 202517:30 - 21:00
We're shifting gears from Friday nights and giving Wednesday nights a shot. If you can make it, please RSVP ASAP. If not, we'll try again next week and see how it goes.
If it happens, dinner will be served; bring something to share and your favorite beverage. Music and house cars/controllers will be available.
October 8, 202517:30 - 22:00 Stewart Raceway, 23599 Skyview Terrace, Los Gatos, CA 95033, USA
We're still unsure which weeknight will be the best for this type of event, but it's on again this Wednesday night. Obviously, not a Junior-level time slot, this event starts with an open practice, followed by dinner of some sort, and your favorite beverage.Â
Racing starts after dinner, which is usually at a table or two trackside. Dinner is on the house this time, with the usual beer and wine available. Feel free to bring food or hydration products to share--or not. Kathy says she's preparing chili and cornbread for this one.
We sometimes only complete one race due to extended conversations during and after dinner, but we aim for at least two complete fuel races. And, yes, points are accumulated towards end-of-season awards and recognition.
We'll probably run IROC sets for this one, but bring your Viper and MG+ 1.7 cars, if you have them.
Okay, that's the plan for now. Please RSVP if you can make it. No response necessary, if you can't.

Okay, who's up for another Under The Lights event this Wednesday night? Â
Obviously, not a Junior-level time slot, this event starts with an open practice, followed by dinner of some sort, and our favorite beverages. Racing starts after dinner, which is usually at a table or two trackside.Â
Please feel free to bring food or hydration products to share--or not. We sometimes only complete one race due to extended conversations during and after dinner, but we aim for at least two complete fuel races. And, yes, points are accumulated towards end-of-season awards and recognition.Â
We'll likely run IROC sets again for this one, but bring your Viper and MG+ 1.7 cars, if you have them.
Schedule:
5:30 Practice
6:30 Feast
7:30 Race 1
8:30 Race 2
If we run fuel races, Experts will be set up for a longer refuel time to make things a bit more competitive.
October 25, 202511:00 - 17:00 Stewart Raceway, 23599 Skyview Terrace, Los Gatos, CA 95033, USA
Okay, it's been quite a layoff. Since many of you haven't raced in quite a while, I thought it would be a good weekend for an open track day on both tracks. Junior drivers welcome, of course.
Yeah, we could do a couple of "unofficial" races, but mostly just test/tune, work on skills, learn controller settings, and maybe a practice qualifying session for those interested.
I'm hoping to have both SR2 and SR3 powered up and ready to go. As always, feel free to bring some snacks and/or drinks. We should have the usual stuff on hand, including bottled water, soft drinks, etc.
Please RSVP ASAP, and let me know who on your team/group can make it.
Let us know what available dates work for you, how much time you can devote to the event, and the number of drivers, marshals, or guests you’ll bring. If you can participate on two or more available dates, please select each date you can attend. Â
