The Stewart Raceway International Race of Champions is a series of four races designed to produce a winner determined solely on driver abilities. As far as humanly possible, the many mechanical variables normally associated with the sport of racing have been eliminated. Drivers are not allowed to make changes or adjustments to any parts of the chosen IROC car, except for controller adjustments.
Event Timelines
The third event of the IROC Champ Series will be on the SR3 oval course. The IROC Champ Series will consist of four (4) race day events, with or without fuel stops.
Schedule:
10:00 - 11:15 - Open Practice with designated IROC sets
11:30 - Drivers Meeting
11:45 - Racing Begins and it's ALL IROC...
Race 1: MegaG+ 1.5 "MTS 3D MIdgets" (No traction magnets)
Break
Race 2: Retro Vipers with Maximum Leeway (Late-model) Lexan bodies
Lunch Break (email/text order to me from Summit Deli Menu)
Race 3: MegaG 1.7 chassis with SK/Whelen Modified hardbodies (no traction magnets)
Break
Race 4: Viper-Jets with Lexan NAStruck Bodies
